hi all, and happy new year from rome, italy. 2025 is off to a great start for a GL 1000 aficionado looking for parts for his project. I'm writing to let you guys know about a rare reservoir of Honda 1000 Gold Wing parts for a restoration that was never completed and "discovered" in the basement. the parts come from belgium and the usa, and have been there for fifteen years. they include engine block, indicators, electrical components, pistons, carburettors, "tank", forks, decals, disks, too many to describe. i have twice as many shots, if interested just get in touch.
we have not opened all the cartons, nor do we have a way to do so at the moment. we are reasoning on a fair price for the lot in its entirety. had I been residing in rome I would have been happy to assist in scavenging etc, but since I'm not kindly do not ask us to sell individually or to ship. you may arrange to collect en bloc in rome, in the prati neighbourhood. this is also listed on ebay, but you true GL lovers will obviously enjoy accordingly reduced prices. I'm myself a fan of classic bikes (BMWs are my thing) but have always admired this model. it was veeery exciting to discover this reservoir!
