I found a fuse in the radio wiring that when removed caused the power to the clock and radio to go off when I turned the bike off. That cured my dead battery issue. The radio and clock will come on when the bike is running but the clock does not maintain time and no memory presets for the radio. I don't usually listen to the radio and I have a watch so this issue is way down the priority list. Maybe that fuse is bad or has been removed on your bike.
There is nothing else on that fuse. I think there is a problem with the radio itself. When I do turn it on it works but seems to suck a lot of power. I just don't use it. It would be nice to have it working properly.Joep":2pwf7kf4 said:stratocat":2pwf7kf4 said:On my 82 aspy I was having the battery go dead after about 3 days if the bike sat. Have you traced the wires from the fused yet??? did the PO wire in something else on that fuse line??? 3 days is a bit fast to rundown the battery on a system designed to draw phantom power for clock and presets..
