i wanted to get this thread started today. i met up with catdaddy and slip about 10a we took a short ride to the club house for breakfast before heading to flint. we took I-96 east to m-8 east and then picked up I-75 going north, boooring! we took I-475, slip was leading but i passed him and exited at bristol rd. made a right and took them to rocky's, nither of them had been to rocky's ( in burton, mi. ) before. i got a hiflo oil filter for the 1500 wing and they went and looked around the store. from ther its a short ride on saginaw st going nort to downtown flint. nither of them had ever bee to flint for bikes on the bricks and were surprised and amazed at the number of bikes there. we split up and went in different directions

i've been down around oldman's cave, ash cave, and the rock house and i know it gets better

i didn't know there was a park on the north end of downtown flint, i usually don't make it this far north. i'll have to come back to explore it another day

check out the wing. the leo's are trading in their harleys for something more dependable

thats about a '99 indian and one of my all time favorite hondas this one is a cl 350 but i have a lot of saddle time on cb 350s

well that about ended the fun up in flint. slip, his lady friend and catdaddy headed for home while van walked north towards the park. once van got back we headed in also. slip and catdaddy took the expressway home while van and i took saginaw st south into grand blanc, mi. we made a left on baldwin rd. and followed it around to m-15 near oxford, mi. we too m- 150 south to I-75 and took the expressway south for about a mile and exited on sashabaw rd. we took sashabaw rd. down to us-24, i thought we had made it around all the construction but i was worng. just for fun we took m-59 east into pontiac mi. van doesn't get out much on his yamaha so when you have him out you have to keep him out as long as you can. we made a right turn on m-1 heading south, light traffic until we got around I-696 and the construction going on in the are. soone we were heading west on m-102 ( remember the movie 8 mile ). we took m-39 south home from there, van and i stay less than two miles from eachother

the sun came out from behind the clouds and it warmed up for a very nice day of bikes and riding
