I have trouble with carpal tunnel on my right wrist, tennis elbow on my right arm and both shoulders are needing ligaments worked on. Has anyone used a handlebar riser or the riser/setbacks? I recently moved my seat as far forward as it will go which helps, but my arms are still stretched too far. I rode my buddies GL1800 and his handlebars are lower and closer to the seat which allows my arms to be more in a resting position. I am definately looking into the palm rest for the throttle, but am looking for input on the handlebar risers.

its always had troublr with the bars on the 1000 and 1100 seems the same .....on my 1000 i put on 1200 bars as setback riser wold hit the guages on the false tank but i had to get a longer front bake hose and the clutch cable just did work ....but the pull back angle was just perfect for me it was a huge improvement jerry....

I made a set of 1 inch risers when I added the new seat do to the extra height.
Seems as though an inch is as far as I could go do to cables and such.
Do to the angle, they raised and moved back at the same time.
