I made the decision to try the dynabeads but either way then I got thinking maybe I can just do it myself, I have my old tire spoons but how hard would it be on the ground, animal style? No objection to paying the 20 bucks but the trip to the installer ect maybe I can do it on my own, or maybe these tubeless beads are a real pain with old tools and an old man.
Anyone have any experience with the comstars and do it yourself?
Thanks.

I break the bead on my tires using this method:

Also, I invested in a couple of regular car tire irons from Harbor Freight. It seems I always need to use more than two of them to get the tires off/on the rim. Two of the regular tire irons, and two motorcycle tire irons.

That is how I did my first tire and then I went to Harbor Freight and bought one of these:

I got it when it was on sale and also had a coupon so I only paid $25.00 for it.

Dang! I dint know they even still made a bead breaker like that! I used to have one exactly like it a loooong time ago. Have no idea what the heck ever happened to it, tho....prolly forgot and left it in a shop somewhere. Cain't beat that fer $25!!! :good:
