Former '82 GL1100 "The Slug"
When I get out on the road, it is nice to stretch your legs after a few hours of riding. Currently, I take my Vetter lowers off the fairing which exposes the whole engine and case guards. I removed my floorboards and heel/toe shifter because they did not work well for me and installed some '83 footpegs (more flatter than the original '82's which I no longer had). To stretch now, I start with putting my feet up on the back of the engine guards and eventually end up with them on the top of the engine guards and valve covers (kinda scrunches the spark plug wires).

I just received a set of Kuryakyn highway pegs from my neighbor from his GL1800! :clapping: :Egyptian:

They do not fit! :head bang: :crying:

They are designed to clamp onto the engine guard lightly with a section that rests up against the valve cover to prevent them from twisting with weight on them. The GL1800 valve covers are flat, GL1100's are not!

So before I attempt a modification, I'd like to reach out and see what you guys might have first! :read:  (Pics are nice too! )

BTW, here is the type he gave me:

Those footrests are valuable for sure - I would be glad to trade you a set of plain Honda hy-way pegs and cover the shipping - when i get home I will send you a picture
