New to the Goldwing

Hi, I'm Russ and I am new to the Goldwing. Had a CB550 when I was younger. My 83 Interstate trike was left to me by a family member that past away. It needs work. Has been sitting for 10 years but was very well kept and rode before that. Looking forward to getting it back on the road.

Being new to the Goldwing and trying get the uncles old bike back to the way he had it, I have spent a lot of time reading through posts on this forum. I am far from a bike expert but am very mechanically include and will learn the goods and bad of this bike very quickly. For those of you that have posted details here, thank you. I am still in the tear down and see what is needed phase but will post pics as I go. I am sure I will have questions and will post a questions. Even post about the "simple" things will greatly help those like me. Again, thanks for all your posts.

Welcome to the site from Tennessee! When we got our '82 1100, it had a blown engine, everything was rusted solid and in non-working order. My daughters and I approached everything with the attitude, "Someone put this bike together, someone can take it a part and I am a someone!". Here is the result:
