How low is your VIN?

Little curiosity here. I purchased, this spring, an '88 Wing with 107k Kms. I've put on 8k kms so far this year (plus 4k on the Concours) with a 3500 km trip to Nova Scotia pulling a trailer w/o a hiccup. Love it. SO adores it.As I register it I notice the VIN is ******A000072. Does that mean it is number 72 of the 1500's?
