I lived in Texas, but wasn't a Texan...now I don't live in Texas, but sound like a Texan. ...I still say Ya'll and fixin and Howdy...oh yeah and partner. LOL, it was only 3 years in Greenville. It always pissed me off when cops called me son(Grrrrr).

I spent 3yrs 3months 3days in El Paso and I don't consider myself a Texan, but my son was borne there and he is so full of "IT" that you know he is a Texan. Sorry if I offended anyone, but he needs to be clipped down. I tell him he is not a Texan because he was borne in the Military Hospital there and Military instillations are not technecally part of the state.
