I just finished finished watching a Frontline story on the Lincoln Highway that goes from San Francisco to New York City. The history was something but what really caught my attention was part of it was about two 70 year old men that rode it from end to end on these Piaggio scooters and they plan on doing it many times again. Check these scooters out, their unbelievable and will run 90 mph, lean up to 40 degrees in turns. https://www.piaggiousa.com/scooters.html ... os/mp3-500

I have seen one of those locally that has been modified with a sidecar. I keep looking for it so I can get a picture of it because it really falls into that category of "what were you thinking" because I would think steering would have to be a bear.

I had the same thoughts of a sidecar on one but then I thought about skiri's leaner sidecar mounted to one.hmmmm, that might work. My imaginnation is out of control, someone call 911.

I have an 81 year old friend in Minneapolis lones his. If it said "Honda" on the badge I might be more apt to look into one for my ride. Around here Piaggio is non existant & even if it were I'm told parts can take a while to get.
