Hey Wrangler882, Have you tried NOVUS polish? It comes in 3 strenghts (1 - Polish, 2 - small scratches, and 3 - deep scratches). I use it on my 1200i windshield. Makes it look like new everytime I use it.

I would give polishing a try first. My windshield had swirls, light scratches and one nasty smear right in the center when I got it and I had great results with Meguiars ScratchX. That was three years ago and it still looks like new.

I been using Plexus....works really well. Cleans up all of the smaller scratches, and hazing. My shield is as clear as glass....can't even tell it's there, except for the edges.

On another note....is that an adjustable/pivoting rear trunk mount? Looks neat.

Definitely one more for the polish. I use Turtle Wax scratch and swirl on all my plastics and I am really impressed with the results. :good:
I should also note that I use Turtle Wax on my helmet and visor to clean and reduce fogging

I have two vetter windshields. They have some wear and some light scratches. What causes the light scratches, or what I have been told, is people using chemicals like windex on lexan.

Nope....simply spray on to windshield, use a soft cotton cloth to clean the windshield with the product on and then polish with a clean dry cotton cloth. Works great!
