that top one looks very nice.

~O~

Yes; it's big and it's on wheels..makes it easy to take into the hotel if I'm not camping with the trailer...like when I go to Wing Ding 36 this year in Madison!

Don't go too big John

Thanks for the tip, Gerry. If I put it in the passenger spot, I don't think the height will be an issue...

I assume you are putting this on the seat and not on the back of the trunk.

Exactly! :good: That's why I'm looking for this type of bag.

Just a reminder, this what NOT to do! :smilie_happy:

John, in the end, I am under the opinion that it was the tent all the way back on the trunk luggage rack and the camp chair sticking out way past the back of the bike that was throwing off the balance at high speed (over 80 MPH). At speeds of 75 MPH or less with the bike loaded like that it did fine. 72 MPH turned out to be the sweet spot. (Just too slow for the highway traffic we encountered that was running well over 78 MPH average).

You shoulda strapped the chair to your rear bumper.
Or got a trailer! :smilie_happy:

Next trip I will have one, as long as I ride the 1100.

The saddle man looks great John and wheels are a bonus. I picked up a soft bag like the one Kim has on his Harley at a Goodwill store in Vegas for $12 ( I should say my darling wife Ruth spotted it) where we also bought a Japanese Samsonite with keys for $20. Kim's bag worked well for our trip but the Vetter side bags were a lot easier to use. Gotta love the Rats Nest for all it's Vetter gear.
