I'm a sucker for rescuing old motorcycles... Especially a 75 KO wing... 42000kms on clock. Doesn't seem to be *******ized either.... Been looking for a thou of 75 or 76 vintage for a while... My 1100 turned up so I grabbed that. Now I'm smack dab in the middle of working on that... And I'm bring this ol girl home.
I've got a really soft spot for 75/76 models... It was one of my 1st big bikes I had. So this is goin to be special to me...
Try explaining that to my wife tho... She actually took it really well... Initially it was denial... Til she crumbled and said fine :
I've got a spare motor with it and some retro panniers as well.

Lol. I think I have reached critical mass. I don't think she noticed the last orphan I brought in. She rarely comes out to the shop, so I am pretty lucky.

Your 75 looks like a solid ride. Enjoy - especially now that you have executive approval.

Apparently strategically its better to seek forgiveness than ask for permission... Lol
Mate of mine says he only counts what's licenced... Well in that case I don't have any bikes.
Another mate of mine asked me how many bikes I had now.... I said well... Technically only 1. But I've got a lot of Ike parts in my garage...

Well... I got the ol girl home. And I can actually fit a GL1000 in a short wheelbase vw caddy van
Spare engine, spare rear wheel... But rim the rim on the bike seems skinnier. Disc rotor on spare wheel has seen better days. Full 2nd set of carbs... Old school panniers and top box,few different spares, set of gauges.
The exhaust appears to be original. And solid as too. So that leads me to think that the 42k kms on clock isn't too far wrong.
I will start playing tomorrow...I'm buggered if I know how to make picture go up the right way... Tried several times...
I want this
