need info help on 83 fork rebuild

as always i cant find anything on the computer :hihihi: oh2: if anybody know where there is a thread on 83 fork rebuild and info ....i would greatly like to see it :mrgreen:

charley i pulled the tank and will call you tonite .....i was mostly looking for a thread on the 83 forks with the trac system or anti drive to see if the proceedgure is any different on them as ive never done one of them and was hoping there might be a thread on that year....i think im going to look at a 1200 thread to see for difference....thanks

if your just replacing the seals and sliders in the fork dont worry about the trax system it wont interfere with the replacement of parts im rebuilding a set right now. the only thing to be real careful on it the allen bolt on the bottom make sure you have the right size a 6mm and dont force it as i stripped a head off before . let me know if you need any more info
