[Rusty Lugnut]

Hi fellow wingers, I'm new to this site and wanted to introduce myself. I live in the sunny south, Ga. and ride a 1981 GL1100, my second wing. My first was an SE-I which unfortunately got backed over by a Honda Accord (Canibalism?) and even more unfortunately, I was on it at the time. My 1100 started life as a standard, but when I bought it, it had a Vetter fairing with lowers and Interstate luggage including trunk. I am currently in the process of a winter project where I have removed the Vetter, swapped for '83 cast wheels with whitewall tires, fork boots and a repaint. Well the painting hasn't been started yet and I may put that off, but it is in the plan. I also might swap out the fork tubes for 2" extensions. I'll post pictures when I get it done if I can figure out how. :hi:
