New Rider, of the board and the bike

Bob Cassel, 54, male, married (happily for nealy 30 years), living in northern California, semi-retired (was a fire chief, now teach school).

Just purchased and repainted a 1982 GL1100 Interstate. It was the usual "wine" color, it's Chrysler - Cool Vanilla now with burgandy pinstripe.

Do most of the work on the bike myself and will need "how to" help. I learn fast and will hope to give back from what I learn.

Other interests: Sailing (SF Bay mostly, have my own 26' trailerable sailboat) model railroading (just a little for the grandkids, 0-27 scale) and my grandkids. Do some consulting on the side, management and policy as well as grant writing and grant administration.

Well, that pretty much sums me up.
