Hey Brian that looks like the mirrors I had on my 82 and 84 magnas... also aftermarket emgos looked like the OEM ones except the "vehicles are closer then they look" mirrors... I got mine from Dennis Kirk when I damaged mine.. you are right.. adjust the mirror in the bar hole... lock it down.. adjust mirror head and lock it down.. no movement...

I think you nailed it Joep. I found this at the Emgo site. Also found one that looks just like mine on Ebay for $10 and would have bought it but shipping was $31 to Canuckistan.

Ya I am pretty sure that is not OEM. On my stock 80 standard the mirrors are round and convex and do not moved unless pushed.

I guess the "EMGO" stamped on the shaft might have been a clue that they aren't OEM :head bang:
Anyways I like them and will have to keep my eyes open for another one because I only have one now.

Thanks all for your help and patience.

Brian

OMG! I just saw the pic on my computer at home, I was looking at it on my phone at work and thought we were talking about Hondaline Fairing mirrors. Boy do I feel like a chump :smilie_happy:

Great looking mirrors btw.
