For those of you who have never seen the rats nest of wires in a GL1100 fairing. These are for the Clarion radio and CB.

The only way to work on these is through the turn signal hole. So you gotta have small hands and wrist.

The most used tool I have used on my bike over the years. Used to get the wires from the right side to the mass of wires for connections on the left side.

Leave a mouse or tracer wire from left to right and that way you can easily add circuits in the future or replace a faulty wire easily  I put mine in to run the 2 leds on the crash bars and I have a power socket on the rh side that is still not wired up ( I intend to add additional circuits to the Vetter plug and relay for the Leds which are off the tail/marker light circuit atm) as I want one switchable on battery power ( hole in the fairing near LH socket) and the other off accessories ( atm ignition) :builder:
