Rear shock rebuild

Does anyone have a source for the rubber bump stop inside the rear shocks? I just disassembled mine and they are shot.

last i heard or read is OEM part is n/a and folks are using a substitute

I purchased neoprene stoppers from Orchard supply that seemed to work.

Went to Napa and picked up some shock bushings. Part#650-1113. Worked perfect.

But...will the rubber stand up to the fluid? :headscratch:
When I did mine, I also wondered what to use. I wound up using a nylon/rubber shift linkage bushing for older Cadillac transmissions. They're fairly stiff, but flexible enough to not be solid. Don't know how long they will survive either, and not gunna tear the shocks back apart to see.... :hihihi:

This is similar to what I used as cushions in my rear shocks. It is a shift linkage...
