A friend of mine has had an injury to their ankle that will no longer allow them to ride their bike, so they have asked me toassist them in the sale of it. I don't know alot of details on it, but here is what I do know. It is a 1984 BMW R65, that her mother bought new. It has been ridden through all :x 48 continental states, and mantinence was maticulous. Oil changed every 3,000 miles or before. Lowered to accomodate women riders, and keyed removable BMW luggage. I know that the carbs need reworked, due to it being in storage since her accident. I don't have any pictures, yet, but I'll post them when I get them. The asking price is $2000 as is, but if she has the carbs redone, the prices will be added. Let me know if you're interested.

Here is a link to the NADA values.

Here is a pic of a 1984 R65, this is not the bike for sale, just one like it.

That is a great looking bike! How long has been sitting? I'd love to have it, but I would have to make a decision on which bike that I'd have to sell. I'm going to pass this on to a friend of mine to see if he's interested. I'll give him a call tomorrow. I take it that the bike is in TN?

Not sure on how long it's been sitting. Around a year I believe. It's in TN yes. I work in Murfreesboro every weekend, so I'm sure we could work something out as far as pick up and delivery. Just FYI the price is nonnegotiable. Her words not mine.
