Back in 2010, I purchased a Stebel Nautilus horn for my bike because my main horns were failing and the repairs did not go well. The horn is very similar to the Wolo Bad Boy horn (but much better than the Wolo!) It works like a champ!

I installed it on the inside of my Vetter faring between the faring and the steering head.

It was a great location, easy installation and effective on the highway.

Well, the Vetter faring is off as I convert the bike back to Standard with a windshield and I need to relocate the horn. But where?? It is only a one bolt installation, but has limitations on exposure and angle. I tried everywhere that I could on the bike but just could not find a resonable spot EXCEPT where the original horns where on the side of the frame. If only I could install it there!! But the bolt cannot fit through the frame there. :whip:

A closer look at an OEM horn and I realize they are also mounted to a mounting plate! Remove the horn from the plate and VOILA new horn bracket that allows easy removal of the horn just like the OEM horns! AND, the wiring is already there!
