Sundowner Seat

My lucky day today. Just had a friend give me a like new Sundowner "DeepBucket" seat that came off a Harley Roadglide.

My question is, since I plan to modify it and put it on Suzy Q, will my bike start losing parts going down the highway and leak oil when parked ? :headscratch: :whistling: :smilie_happy: :smilie_happy:
