Hi all,
I am on the fence about a purchase and I'm looking for some feedback from those in the know.
Here's the deal.
I have an 81 gl1100 project in the works. Cafe build that will likely be needing some parts as I work the kinks out.
In searching for parts, I have an opportunity to buy a non running bike and sidecar setup for a decent price. Its an 82 gl1100 w/ fairing and terraplane sidecar. (Sidecar has disc brake, and all mounting stuff- looks good)
If i buy, I would be looking to sell the sidecar (and other bling) immediately as I don't have a need for it or space to store it. I live in Maine, so my concern is that I will be stuck storing the sidecar all winter. Am I likely to find a new home for it here on the forum... or eBay? Obviously kinda too big to FedEx the thing to a buyer on the west coast. I just have no idea about demand for these terraplanes :/
Thanks all for your help!
Trying to make a decision tonight to pull the trigger or not....
