It has been a pleasure seeing the progress you've made and the confidence you've gained on this build, I've learned a few things along the way as well.

I hear the BMW guys are anal, that they'd buy BMW brand air if the dealers sold it :smilie_happy:

I'm sure you'll love it. Congrats.

That's it, except mine's silver and black. I was on vacation in Santa Fe , NM and saw one. Caught my eye.
My 1500 handles better but for some reason I'm ready for a change. Never owned a BMW so here goes.
I've heard similar things about BMW owners, funny stuff. Won't be me though, too humble for that.

BTW thanks for all your help.

p.s. "The Wanderer" might not sell and that's fine with me, she's a great bike !!

I have over a dozen bikes AND a happy wife. Sorry I can't relate. It's really nice to have choices when you decide to go for a ride. Also nice to relate in a way neither restricts the other.

Hey Tim! Good luck on the BMW ride! I am glad to hear your Wife is in remission! Go have some fun with her and ride!! :moped:

Thank you sir. And also for sending that lock too me.

Very happy wife is in remission. Lymphoma can be tricky but her doc is brilliant and she has responded well.

This bmw I'm looking at tomorrow, the owner said it did fall over while he was moving his other bikes around it. Said he had to replace the foot peg and the blinkers are designed to snap off in such a situation. Should I be concerned. He also mentioned that the windshield does not work now.
Thoughts??

As long as it is reflected in the price it's not really a problem. Just make sure you do your research as I am sure BMW parts are a lot more expensive than Oldwing parts!

Here's my new bike . Just got her home . Already have someone coming to look at "the wanderer" too.

How is that seat on the little buddies? Looks like it might hurt after awhile.

Actually, when i went to sit on it, they started cringing and spoke to me, they said, "no , your'e not going to sit on that now are you, you must be NUTS !!

Its an aftermarket Sargent seat, but will take getting used to.
