OK, I bought this bike a few months ago and have just started playing with it a little. The first thing I wanted to fix was the mirror mount on the fairing, the PO had dropped it in the trailer he stored it in and broke it.
I first cleaned out all the loose pieces, then marked where I could drill mounting holes.
started roughing it out from a stainless sheet - real rough, I know
finally started looking like something
made nut plates for the back
still has the stock nut plate for the mirror, and once mirror is back on no body will ever know
so the moral of this story is don't break the mirror mount....it's a pain in the.......neck, yeah neck work
