Here in Missouri you can tag a vehicle 25 yrs old as a Historic vehicle.

That is the Primary Chain rattling, it will do that a lot at low rpm especially if the carberators are not synchronized correctly.
Keep the rpm up and it will not rattle as much.

My 1979 GL-1000 has a little over 38k miles on it now, I have had it about 6 years, it had 19k miles on it when I got it, it had not been tagged since 1988 then.
