My take on the ultimate GoldWing muscle cruiser naked. Loosely inspired by Michael Douglas' Harley XLCR in "Black Rain," with a tracker style rear fender. Boom! Still a work in progress. Fitting a front fairing and, oh yeah, getting the bike to run and drive properly. Details...

Good looking bike so far. What does that say on the gas tank?
Thx, I appreciate it. The Japanese characters are "wabi sabi." That's the concept of something old and broken-in being more beautiful (and cool) than something brand new and flawless. Seemed appropriate to me!

Looks Great. Are you thinking exhaust and front fender? The tail looks good and is one of the hardest finishes to do, The Kawasaki tail seems to fit well.
Hey, zman. Thanks and good eye--that is a Kawasaki tail section--from a Z1 or KZ900. It was a bit of a bear to mount it up, since I'm not really a fabricator, but had to weld custom brackets. I absolutely love how it fits in with the frame and the seat (which I mail ordered from Vietnam). Kinda got lucky there.

For front fender, I have a slim chrome one from a CB900 that I'm planning to use (but open to other suggestions!). The exhaust I think is really sexy from the factory. But, again, open to suggestions. That plumbing weighs 100,000 pounds, but hey, this is a Goldwing so she can handle weight. :)
