Can anyone tell me if there is a thread on here on how to replace the upper and lower bearings and seals on a triple tree on a 1977 G L 1000 to the new bearings and seals? I also need to get the old race out. From what I understand the 77 had presed in races.

I have an electronic egnition on the bike. I also have a new set of coils and wires. I have been going to the hospital for the last fiew weeks with my wife and haven't had a chance to look at the bike. I did start it up a couple times, but not enough to soot up the plugs. Rite now it is put up...

:Awe: Well I did get a chance to look at the bike for a fiew minutes last week. and I discovered that I had a couple hair line cracks in the side wall on the rear tire. Now it seems as though I hsve to get a new tire for the rear. It has plenty of rubber on it . i gues I shouldn't complain it...

Thanks everyone. We went to the doctor today and she is doing better. We had to turn her oxygen up to 7 leters resting and 10 walking or mooving. Had to put 2 machines together to get to 10. The company is making a special machone that will go up to 12,leters of oxygen just in case. :moped:

Im sorry that I havent answered anything sooner. I have been at the hospital with my wife, She just got released this evening. Doing better but has a long road to recovery.
