I agree about the weights but when you think about it, heavy fluid will spread better than small beads. I am putting my new tires on this weekend where do i find this balancing fluid

Ride-On is supposed to be the really good balancing fluid/ sealant. If your look in my 81 resurrection posts you will see the company that I won't recommend, they have the best price but I can't bring myself to deal with them.

Hmm, let's get this topic back on track, it was about dim headlight, and start a new one about tires and sealant/balancing. :rtfm:

You are absolutely right about this being about head lites. I should have started a new topic about tire balancing. I have not rode the bike since I put the tire on the bike, so I can't tell if I need to balance the tire or not. It is still on the bike jack. I had to get an adapter for the torque rench so I could torque the bolts on the front wheel and back wheel. And I havent looked at the head lite since I posted the post on head lites. :moped:

I do have some pictures that were sent to me for getting rid of the emergency lighting . I was told that might be the problem with the dull head lite'. I havent had the energy or the loose joints to do any work on the bike. I am 74 and taking all kinds of meds, shots in the joints so I can bend my knees and fingers. Back was operated on last year, and taking stuf for that too. In other words IM a mess, BUT I still go to the gwrra meetings and I still get on the bike and ride around the block , SOMETIMES. :moped:

In 1977 I took the bike and with 2 friends an my wife of about 1 month went cross country to California It took us 6 days to do it and that was stopping in Wva. to see my parents for a day and a half . We arrived in Costamesa Ca. on a saturdat morning at 9:30 saturday morning.
Before I cant ride any more I want to do it again. On the same bike I did it on the first time. I may be old BUT I still want to ride, as often as I CAN. I try to do all my own repairs when I can. I also have the only G L 1000 I have ever had a 1977 G L 1000. I am a retired truck driver and can't afford a new bike THEY JUST DONT MAKE THEM LIKE THEY DID WHEN THEY STARTED. :moped: :moped: :moped: :head bang:
