I was not aware that Castrol made motorcycle oil. I’ll look into that. I use Castrol in all of my dry clutch bikes, so if I can find some for my wet clutch bikes, that will work!
Ya know, I think the powder coating thing might work if you have a tire machine that doesn’t touch the outside edge of your rim, but us mere mortals that use tire spoons are gonna screw up the powder coating every time. Your tire spoon wears through the coating right on the edge of the rim and...
A year and a half later update. I’ve finally torn parts of my wing down to send some stuff out to be rechromed, which I should have done in the first place, and to try to fix these nasty rims. I spent all day today in the garage with a heat gun and some plastic scrapers to try to remove the...

From my experience, the book is dead wrong in this case. You will not be able to flex your frame enough to get the switch out. Nowhere near enough! You are going to need to almost remove the engine from the frame to get enough room to get the switch out. You will need to remove BOTH headers, ALL...
Hi George. I would think that starting a new thread with your questions might be a better idea. You would probably get more attention that way.
But to answer your questions with my own opinion, real quick, I would say that you need possibly a clutch adjustment to facilitate your getting it into...
