New ebay starter (READ THIS BEFORE BUYING)

I got one of the ones from DB electric a couple years ago for my 81, it fit correctly and spun the engine over a lot faster than my old one. Not saying they couldn't be having the same problems now, but it was a good deal then.

What did you do to your Wing today ?

Had a new rear tire put on, I pulled the wheel and took it to my local bike shop where he mounted the new tire for free. ok guys, i am a forklift mechanic and i work on both gas and electric forklifts so i know my way around an ohm meter very well. One ohm resistance to ground is basically a dead short. when reading ohms, the higher the number, i.e. 50,000-2,000,000 ohms, the better your insulated. so aaples...

    ......Breaking News.....!!!!!!

i agree with slabghost, 13.2 volts at idle is just fine for a 12 volt battery. I don't think any of my cages charge much more than that at idle. You don't want much more than 14.3 volts at maximum anyway. :)

What did you do to your Wing today ?

Today i pulled the fairing, false tank and carburetors off. Carburetors are dripping fuel into cylinders causing bad fuel smoke on startup. I have had lots of trouble with these carbs despite them supposedly being rebuilt by PO (he paid Honda shop to do it) and having pulled them myself to...
