I've always liked the look of the aftermarket finned horn covers, but they don't fit on my '83 domed horns. Found a set of '78 flat horns on eBay, made brackets to fit the stock mount location, and snapped on the cool new covers. Now they don't work. :Awe: Same fuse as the turn signals which...

I'm a little reluctant to get into the carbs right now, especially since it's finally stopped raining. I think I'll try the ATF trick first. Put 6 oz. into a nearly full tank last night, and expect to put about 100 mi. on today. I'll keep you all posted. I'm a little handier with a wrench...

Thanks Gerry. I geuss the quote included re-synching the carbs after Installing the cutoffs. I' definitely gonna try the $4.00 fix first.

Last time I filled my empty 'Wing it was $12.60 in November; last nite was $16.20 with a $.05/gal. discount for cash. Gotta get those air cutoff valves replaced!
