:doh: Bought a naked 77 Wing last summer..."I'd ride it anywhere,no major issues,blah,blah blah".Higher miles but adult original owner.....mistaken trust...bike fired right up at sale,bit of roughness of stale gas/tuneup kind..bought it &hauled him home.Couple days later unloaded from trailer...

Bout a month back,pulled the carbs on my 77.....cables were worn so I pulled them for replacement........Now I can't recall if they go over or under the frame crosstube above? :oops:

Who's used what and outcome? Recommendations. Used "No Leaks" or such on both my 750As,about 2yrs ago.Bikes have been stored indoors,only a few miles on ea since....Both have one side seeping. Checked reviews at Dennis Kirk and apparently I'm not the only victim.....

Need a single carb top for 77 GL1000......or knowledge of where/how to replace broken"button" on top. All I can seem to locate are decorative coverups,not the domed button itself.Marked 2,6 inside Thanx

Fresh Craigslist offering,Early GW with Voyager(clip on) conversion since 2007,56? K mi,Old feller,Central,Wi..runner not project. Note:Voyager trikes are bolt on conversion and quickly reversible trike to bike or vice versa,also with additional mounting kit(s),trike unit could be transferred...

Anyone know offhand if the 78-79 tailight bracket(with turn signal mounting holes),will match the fender mounting holes on a 75-77? I can't seem to get the questioned bikes butt-butt to compare. Different part nos on each but "maybe" the signal mounting holes were just added :headscratch:

Working on"refreshing my 76 GW,PO adv headlite only worked on low beam,either stock one or Vetter. One removing the vetter found Satans ratsnest of wiring in shell.Apparently PO never heard of connectors.proper splicing,electrical tape etc.Managed to remove the havoc but now have NO headlamp...

Wanted-Pr of solid GL1000 header pipes. Light rust OK,as they will be blasted/coated. Chrome trim not needed. Seat rail needs be"nice" :thanks:

Anyone familiar w/JAMA GW exhaust systems? Newly aquired 77 is so equipped.Apparently full system,headers to tips.Bike was dirty and I thought pipes were just deteriorated but looking closer,they appear to be badly discolored stainless.Gold and blue like overheated headers,and even muffle tips...

Been rider for 40+yrs.,Started w/a CL90L(5hp) :shock: Main ride at present is a 97Valkyrie 1500 Tourer,but w/limited mobility and a good workshop,started gathering up a few misc vintage Hondas,kinda by type and"refreshing" them.Don't have the $$ to do true full restorations,but I can make em run...
