I have a 1980 1100. The manual calls for a 130/90 17. The old tire is a Dunlap and the only number I can find on the tire is MT 90 B 17 76H. Any idea what actual size this tire is. With the stock tire the 130/90 is the aspect ratio I think. With the MT 90 does the MT stand for a number? 120 or130 etc?

Iirc, the 90 means the tread width is 90 percent of the sidewall height counting the height of the top and bottom sidewall.of course you can measure your tread width and compare it to a 130 which is a tad over 5 inches wide

Mt It's the old bias tire size.. equates to the 130 metric.. so the any 130 will fit with no sidewall rubbing issues... the tie is a 4.5 to 5 inch trad width.. the "B" in the MT size group tells you that.. dunlop used this designation for tires for a long time...
