These came off of the 80 motor that I have and it is obvious that one of them isn't original. One has "Made in Japan" and the other doesn't. I looked at the covers on my 81 and they both have the "Made in Japan." My question: when did the "Made in Japan" fall off of the covers, and no I didn't buff it off?

I think I better check the serial number of that motor and make sure what I have. :shock:

Your practice on that valve cover just shows how much you like doing them. Mind if I bring mine up to you? :wave:

Now wait just one minute! :rant: I might be doing it, but I never mentioned that I like doing it. :smilie_happy:

My fingers are so sore right now it’s unbelievable. These pieces had so much corrosion on them that just a green pad and oven cleaner wasn't enough to clean them up, so wet/dry sand paper was required.
