1982 1100 aspencade skipping

Hello every one I'm cleveland live in north carolina just got me a 1982 gl 1100 aspencade has 39000 mile's and has a issue well when i start it it run's great for about 3-4 minute's and than it seem's to lose
1 or 2 cylinder's and when cooled down start's and run's great again 3-4 minute's could it be coil's or cdi box fuel run's good filter is clean any help on this issue please help and also charge's well new battery lost on it and don't want to replace part's that it don't need Thank's cleve :help:
 
Howdy and welcome to CGW. See if you can determine which cylinders are falling out on you, maybe you can look at the plugs and tell. I would say feel the exhaust header but if it takes 3-4 minutes before it does it the pipes will already be heated up and you'll loose some hide. Run it till it falls out, then pull the plugs and see which ones are wet with fuel and the color of the tip.

your right about already hot pipe's have replaced the plug's will keep runing to see which are wet and reply back Thank's
 
Hang a rag behind each pipe close while it's running.If either side tries to suck the rag in at times set the valves.
 
it has two spark units ...as we call them ....left side under false tank......this is the most common thing that go bad on 1100s thar drops 2 cylinders and is effected by heat.....also it could be starving for gas ....might ck for fuel flow form fuel pump to take that off the table ....but im thinking spark unit
