I have a thread going in the tech section for a pending head gasket repair that I have to do with this bike that I just bought however I just picked it up tonight so I thought I would post some pictures here in the general section of it before I start. I hope that's OK. The bike was a good runner till it apparently blew it's head gasket last September. Hopefully it will come back to life for me. I have ordered a head gasket and timing belts from Honda and should be able to start on Saturday. I may be asking some quesitons about the head gasket job in the tech section. I'm a little concerned that coolent appears to be leaking where the muffler and head connects on the left side. There must have been alot of coolant dropped into the cylinder. I hope it's just the gasket and not a cracked head or block. I won't even turn the motor over till I get the head off and get the coolant out of the cylinder. Tonight I hooked up the battery and played with the radio and the compressor. All the displays and the lights seem to work. It's got good rubber but does need some TLC. I will post pictures as I go. I paid $300 for the bike.

If you decide not to rebuild it I would be glad to buy it - or if you prefer to change the engine I have one for $200 (same year same bike)
