ok,i went and found a 7 volt rec. off a 76,and when i got home i opened up my side panel and there was no 7 volt rec where it was supposed to be.. ...so after looking on both sides still nothing. sooo, looking somemore. i find it conected to my gauges. diffrent type and lay out...now the question is do i need to find another one or can i rig up pulg end that will work with what i got?
:headscratch:

I ain't sure, but....seems like a 7v regulator is a 7v regulator. If you can wire it in, it should work just fine. :good:

How many wires on the "new" one, and how many on your original? Should be fairly easy to look at the wiring diagram(s) to figure out which wire is what, color-wise.
