Hi! I'm a new participant. I have a 78 Goldwing I bought new. I put 20,000 miles on it over nine years, then had to move and my life got screwed up. When I last rode it in about 1990 it was running fine. It hasn't run since. It's been in Arizona, but for the past ten years it's been stored uncovered and outdoors, so everything that could fade or dry rot has done so. It's never been wrecked or dropped, and was treated very well when it was running. The only non-standard item is the shocks, which were converted to air shocks. After market air shocks were a fairly common adaptation at the time if you were riding 2-up with any kind of baggage. It's never had a fairing. I don't think it's ever been licensed in Arizona; I think it was last registered in Texas to me in 1987 which is the year I moved to Arizona. I don't have tags, title, or papers and don't have any desire to re-create them. I paid cash for it, so it's never had a lien. If someone wants to research it and get clear title I'll help however I can. I'm done riding, and I don't have the money or skills to rebuild it. If someone is interested in it for the parts, or as a project bike, make me an offer. I'm tired of paying for storage, and at 69 years old I'm trying to lighten my load a bit.
