I read on here somewhere that the coils should test around 3 ohms on the multimeter....am I wrong.
Here are the settings on the meter and the terminals that I tested from. These are new coils.

I now have no spark and the fuel pump is pissing dry.

t sounds to me like they are testing 82-83 models that use an external resistor, pretty sure the 80-81 model coils test higher because of an internal resistor, the 82-83 model external resistor coils are good for the life of your ignitors..if you have the 82-83 model coils then all the resistor to them and your ignitors will run cooler.
Would check with another meer just to be certain.
