Been away for awhile .But needed to share the good news with all of you that have help me with this Old Girl. After doing the water pump , played with the carbs again just said to hell with it . Sent them to pistol petes. Got them back late Saturday, Had it back running on Sunday found a elec problem on some toggle switches the PO had wired in so cleaned that up had a new front tire put on. But anyway just got back after the first hundred miles All I can say is WOW!! WOW!! That's how these older wings are suppose to run. Not having one since the late 80s. brings to tears what I have missed. Now I'm just praying for a mild winter, I don't want to park her. My hats off to Pistol Petes Im not afraid to turn a wrench but those carbs need more than I could give them.
