82 Goldwing fuel and temp guage not working

I have a 1982 Goldwing, the temp and fuel guages are not working. Checked the fuse it looks ok, anybody got any ideas?

probably the 7v power supply.

The 7 volt regulator is inside the instrument cluster. There are posts here about making a simple replacement, and there are aftermarket ones available.
