Pulled the head on the air compressor and the valve is positioned correctly. However, the compressor blows air out the intake and won't pump up the shocks.

Any suggestions?

May be running in reverse, check your wiring to be sure correct. I am not familiar with GL`s compressor but some motors can run reverse by switching hot lead to ground terminal. Check and be sure before you change anything and put power to it, I`m no expert.

Can you reverse the hoses? Also, does it suck air in through the outlet? The motor direction won't affect the airflow, it's strictly the pumping action of the piston, which is the same in either running direction.

There should be 2 one-way valves in the head, one inlet, the other exhaust. Air should pass only in one direction through them. Make sure they're seating good and proper.
