83 GL1100 Speedo

My speedo quit on the Duluth hill on my way to a Blues Fest. The speedo gear on the front wheel has a nylon washer with places that are cut out to accept the drive off the wheel - mine was shattered. Does anyone sell just that nylon-looking cog or washer thingy?

new is always nicer. but $65 for a part that will never leave you on the side of the road, if it fails, i might go with used. that is a part that is not known to fail with any regularity. i have several of them, and have only sold them to people who where replacing missing parts.

Bought mine new. Somehow used plastic makes me nervous. Hard to recall, but I think I had a hard time finding a used one at the time. Be careful buying used, the 83 is different.
