Hi All- I removed my fuel/temp gauges and took them apart because the inside of the gauges were so fogged up I couldnt read them but first I had to remove the fairing. I cleaned up the glass from the inside because the rubber seals had shrunk and the airtight seal had been broken. This allowed air moisture inside and also allowed the gauges to bounce around when driving. I ground down the metal bushings that go through the rear of the gauges with a rubber seal slightly so the interior seal was able to be compressed. Now I am able to see them clearly and they aren't moving around. The only problem now is they don't work. I'm sure the wiring is hooked up correctly since everything is labeled and color coded. Could the fairing not being on the bike with its pig tail not connected have anything to do with this? Thanks for any help GF
