I was going to take my frame and swing arm in to have them powder coated. I had the drive line removed from the S.A. so I could get all the grease cleaned out.

Then I noticed an o ring/seal at the back. It isn't like a classic o ring but more like a seal - rubber attached to a metal ring and pressed in.

I am assuming this is going to be toast after a 400 deg. bake in an oven.

So I started looking for a replacement with the thought that Honda probably doesn't make them anymore.

They are on parts fiche but I can't order them. I only checked bikebandit, assuming this is the case with all aftermarket suppliers. So does anyone know if these are still available from Honda?

If not, I guess I will just do a little sandblast myself and paint them. I just wanted the durability of powdercoat.

Oh well
Thanks

If the part is listed on the fiche but you can't order, that usually means it's just unavailable right now.
Usually if it's discontinued it will actually say discontinued, but that's not always the case.

I would give them a call.

Well,

I decided to not do the swing arm. I only have a couple day opportunity to get it done - and not really enough time to research it.

I will check though and maybe do it later or just paint with some black. My feeling is it is no longer available. The s.a. isn't in that bad of shape.

I almost tried my hand at yanking it out and calmer heads prevailed. I am proud of myself that hasn't always been the case. I'm learning......

I will report back

thanks!
