Hi Ya'll,

been awhile since I checked in - work - if ya know what I mean.

Anyway,

I am planning (for awhile now) to use 83 wheels on an 80 bike- 80 or 82 forks (the same).

I did see(parts list) /read awhile back there is a bushing/shim on the 83 wheels between the rotor and wheels. Well as is the case often - no longer available.

I have an 83 interstate but don't want to take the wheel apart to see what's in there - just yet anyway.

I'm using 82 calipers. I am assuming I have to do some shimming anyway.

What would you use for shims? Do I need a digital caliper for this?

good thing a lot of these parts interchange - one can hope anyway

thanks
