85 1200LE runs rich at startup has a bad smell

Hi everybody,I have a 85 1200 LE 77000 exterior is in perfect shape,however it sat for years,I"ve run seafoam through two tanks seems to be running better,however on a cold startup ,it starts right up and idles smooth on high idle,but it has awful smell of fumes like its running to rich it burns your eyes,this bike is fuel injected. After warmup it it seems normal,what can I do next? :thanks: Larry

hmmmm not to sure ....dont know much about the fuel injection modle...seems your mostly okay just check things and ride it ...will probably do the best fixing ...might just be build up in exhast

Try running about 6 oz of automatic transmission fluid in a full tank of gas. Good stuff for keeping the fuel system clean and it helps mileage too.
