Went to a car/bike show a few weekends ago. They had some nice cars and one bike entered. The mayor looked all the vehicles over, said "I like the one on the end." (55 Chevy 2-dr hardtop, very nice) and left.
The prize committee gave the Mayor's trophy to the 55 Chevy; then gave a "Top 20 Entry" trophy to the rest of the vehicles since there were only 14 entries.
Next year, I'm entering my El Camino and 3 Gold wings so I can have plaques on my wall. I also told my daughter to enter her 86 Interstate, so she could have a plaque, too.
It costs $15 to enter a vehicle; the trophy shop charges $10 for each plaque. Maybe I should just buy the plaques, give them to myself & her, and eliminate the middleman. Eh??
