haven't run across this so thought i'd start a thread

there are tons of fairing mirror options out there but dunno witch ones might be an easy bolt on

got a set that look promising, if/when i get 'em mounted, i'll post some pix with the details

some of these look like they would work for sure

these have adjustments for spacing the 2 mounting points

2 bolt fixing, from 24mm to 68 mm width between fixing bolts, which is adjustable to suit you bike

search ebay with "fairing mirrors" and there are then even more and cheaper options,
but less options when it comes to mounting

here's a few

Whatever you wind up with, you should check to see if they have "regular" mirror glass, or the convex type glass. The convex is better to have...you get a much larger view of what's behind you than with the regular glass.

By "larger" view, I mean you see more(wider angle) of what's behind ya...not that everything is actually larger. :ahem:

It's pretty untraveled territory mounting different mirrors to these bikes. You'll be one of the first it seems.
That said, I'd go with mirrors that have turn signals in them. I think that's just cool.

I'd also go with glass that's at least as large as stock for visibility.

mods perhaps this could be moved to customizing?

i could also continue there and link here

universal car mirror, 10 bucks new at 'parts source' (here) and bolts right in

I've been wondering the very same thing....my thoughts were more along the lines of mounting GL1800 mirrors (with built in turn signals) and glassing over the stock turn signal locations.

:beg: Anyone have a working knowledge of PhotoShop and would PLEEEEEEEASE do this? :beg:

stumbled on these, looks like they'd bolt in

thought i'd mention that with the stock mirrors, they bolt into 2 nuts inside the fairing that can get displaced, if that happens, the bolts wont catch anymore

getting at those nuts involved 2 screws for the turnsignal lens assy, then you have access to the backs of the speaker covers which are held on by 4 wing nuts

I`m not so sure those will articulate the way they need to if mounted in the stock location.
They seem to be better suited for strait out or close to it.

The biggest problem with the cheap eBay mirrors I find is that they don't hold their position well
